Sort Items doesn't work [#1897262]

Re-ordering of items under Sort Items tab seems not to be saved. After the save the order is not changed.
If the re-ordering is done using the weight, the result is the same.

In addition the operation is not Drag and Drop as stated, but rather Drag and Click.

This a duplicate of #1888284: Sort showing, but not working. There is a patch in that issue to fix the problem. Please test that patch and report your results.
