Post Date of previous node also cloned; can it be updated to current?

Noticed that when I clone a node, the Post Date is also cloned.

It would be better if this was updated to the date I cloned the node. Easier to filter a view based on Post Date.

Ditto on "Updated Date" - which doesn't make any sense to me.
