There is a quite widespread module (5000+ sites using it) called activity, which already includes a submodule called nodeactivity (without the "_"), hence a possible confusion, although your module is apparently not related to activity in the sense of the activity module.

More generally, anything called "foo_activity" is likely to be perceived/expected to be an activity contrib module for entity "foo".

It would be better to rename your module before code starts to be committed.

Renamed to Node Activity Report. This is module is intended as a reporting/stats tool for admins.
A typical use case is when a contractor is hired to produce content for the site and is paid according to the number of updated/created nodes.
