A customer needed "Nice menus" for a project with Drupal 4.6.x. I had problems with the 4.6 version concerning Drupals cache function and Internet Explorer for Windows.

I ended up using the css file from cvs, a modified version of the js file from cvs. I added a hook_onload() function and updated the hook_menu() function in the module file. I also made the code more consistent with Drupal coding standards.

It seems to work for me now and I'm very interested to hear from people who try this patch.
