File uploads and Date module input not saved when saving multistep

I found a serious problem with the current multistep module, at least it appears with me.
I would appreciate it very much if the project maintainers had a look at this.

The file uploads seem to go o.k. and appear on the specific step they were uploaded, however,
If you upload a file in another step, the files uploaded on the other step are lost/deleted.
So whenever you save an uploaded file in one step, multistep removes the other files from other steps.

The same applies to the Date field, dates selected and saved are lost and 'empty' again when saving another step.

Since i urgently need this to work, pleas help and at least confirm or deny that this also happens in your case, if you read this.
