Using various mechanisms it is possible to have multiple different themes active for the anonymous users, however in some cases when the themes are not compatible with each other some things might break. A known issue is that AJAX requests cannot negotiate the theme set in the ajax page settings and therefore if the current page is using a non-default theme then Drupal will not be able to negotiate that theme and will instead render the content with the default theme, which might break the layout when returned to the user in case both themes aren't compatible.

This module makes it possible to define also the additional themes a site uses by clicking the "Set as additional default" on the Appereance page.
