Please excuse me if this is a duplicate bug, or if I'm using this module in a way not intended. I guarantee that I won't be the first to try to use it this way!. This may actually be a request for integration with Jquery Media module.

Jquery Media
mimedetect
CCK Filefield

I've set the mp3player within Jquery Media to point to /sites/all/modules/mp3player/mp3player/player.swf

This invokes the player when viewing the node with the embedded mp3, but the player says "File not found".

Perhaps Jquery Media module isn't handing the file to the player in the expected way? It would be great if there were a function that could handle output from Jquery Media module.

Needed to turn on MP3 Field Formatter module that is included, visit the CCK type which has the MP3 filefield defined, change "Display Fields"->"Generic File Field" for that specific field that contains only MP3s to "As MP3 Player Flash".

This module requires a separate field for MP3's which is handled apart from Jquery Media's automatic file detection. I'm closing this issue.
