When I update to 6x-1.7 then do a usual update.php run. The new version is not being picked up and is still at 1.6 - my site's regular update checks keep flagging it as having an available update. I've even tried uninstalling and physically removing all traces of it from the database then re-installing but to no avail. Any advice? Thanks

OK, forget that, my mistake, I had an outdated copy in my site's default/modules folder.
Silly me.
