Problem/Motivation

I tried Modals on base system, it works perfectly.
Drupal: 8.9.13
Apache/2.4.18
PHP 7.0.33
MySQL 5.7.33

I used Modern Base theme based themes made on former cmsbots.com site.

The modal page works only when the site is in maintenance mode!
I tried every possible settings, with many browsers, same result.

Just a curiosity, please could you verify if Modal works using the 4.x version?

Very strange! I tested more, the 4.x version is not working with Modern Base theme (not tested with other theme and browser).

The 2.19 version works only with Firefox based (I tried with Waterfox and Firefox) browsers, but only in maintenance mode.

I tested with the attached theme.
