I have tried detection methods “PHP”, “get_browser” and “Browscap”.
In all cases I am getting the mobile theme for Mac PC (Chrome, Firefox, Safari) , Linux desktop (Chrome, Firefox), iPhone 3gs IOS 6.1.
I have cleared the cache on server side => admin/config/development/performance, on the mobile device and workstations.
The /admin/reports/dblog is clear.

I have uninstalled the Browscap module, switched the the detection method to PHP but nothing changed. The theme selected from Mobile Theme drop-down is showing to all browsers, mobiles, tablets, laptops, pc ... It is simply overriding even the default theme from settings "Home › Administration > Appearance".
