how can i switch tiny URL off for URLs which are more then 60 chars?

Currently you can't, this is by design as some phones can not read URLs over 60 characters.

Is there any valid reason that you need to?

If you can give me a use case that requires a url longer than 60 characters to be used I would be more than happy to re-open this issue and look into implementing the feature.
