message.install contains a call to this local function which occurred in v 6.x-2.1 but was removed in 6.x-2.2 and all subsequent versions. It occurs in function function messaging_update_6001().

For anyone updating from v5, this means the module is impossible to install. It's not obvious whether this code is necessary. Does anyone know?
