A "real time" display for messages
Overview:
This module provides a "bridge" between the message module and the jGrowl notification functionality provided by the nodeJS integration module. This allows customizable "real time" growl-like notifications that fire when message events occur.

Features:
- Permissions to allow notification visibility per role
- Administration permissions
- Ability to select specific message types to be displayed in notification
- Because message is built with Entity API, we get Rules integration out of the box. This means completely configurable "real time" notifications from start to finish with no code!
Requirements:
Drupal Dependencies:
Other Requirements:
- This module will need you to have a nodeJS server running. Specifically the one laid out in the nodeJS integration module. See the README for NodeJS integration.
- I suggest installing the latest dev version of message (7.x-1.x-dev) as it comes with several built in examples already configured, and will get you up and running faster.
Installation:
See full installation instructions in the README.txt.
After enabling this module, select which message type you would like to broadcast by visiting NodeJS Notifications fieldset on the message type edit form.

Recommended Modules:
Rules, though not required, will allow you to extend what is capable with Message (and thereby the MessageJS) to site builders.
