Is there a way to place radio buttons inline vs. over/above the content?

This is the actual layout, which I find confusing (see attachment):

x (The "x" represents a radio button / check box)
The description/option then appears below the radio button.

This is what I am looking for:

x Description

I am using Ubuntu 16.04 and Drupal 8.1.2

Let me know if more information is needed.

It appears that your screen shot is in the admin area. If so Mayo is not designed for admin. I use Seven for that.
