I check daily updates to themes and forms, I have version 1.3 of mayo and section updates drupal does not display the update to the latest version 2.x of your theme (I see the new release of MAYO because google webmaster tools told me that the site was not mobile friendly) .

It's normal or there is a problem on my drupal 7 installation?

I'm thinking that's normal because it would be a major version increase and you would want to give that more thought and not an automatic button push. You would want to test it out on a staging install prior to going with your live site.
