Hi,

Just wondering if its possible to use this module without the dependency on Openlayers? I'm using gmap plus a few other mapping modules and would like to avoid adding the openlayers module as well.

If it does require openlayers is there any other way to simply change how a gmap is displayed?

Good point. I've removed the hard dependency on the OpenLayers module. This will be available as the next dev release and when any other big changes happen to the module, it'll be retagged as alpha4.
