I can select any of my various menus to appear when I hover over the manage link in the manager bar, but none of the options provide anything useful. I would think that menu should be something more custom rather than just selecting on of the existing menus so it would have a list of the most common tasks. Right now if I set it to use the Admin menu, then I just get a duplicate manage link. The only one that's remotely useful is Navigation, since it adds the logout (which really should be a button on the top right of the bar) and my account links. Ideally, manager should have it's own menu placed there by default with common tasks which we can then edit as needed through the normal menu administration interface.

franzThere are actually many issues addressed in here.
1) The 'Admin' Menu is created by the 'admin' module. They are the ones who think it's cool to have a menu named Admin with a child item named... Admin, duplicating everything (I haven't searched in the details of it still). This comes to...
2) A 'Manager' Menu. We could create such a menu, that would be interesting. But this is a minor feature, since we want simple interfaces. If you need certain items to appear on the rollover, just create a new customized menu and place the items inside it (just like the feature would do)
3) The logout button is really an interesting feature.
