Send notification to users that visited during maintenance mode

If I understood correctly, this module sends only a notification to specified email addresses.
It would be really nice if it could collect the users who have visited during the site maintenance period and then send an email notification to them.

Let's face it, some people might not want to go back any time soon or at all when they see the site is not available/working due to the maintenance mode, a reminder it's live again can have huge impact and motivation to visit again :)

Are there any similar modules?
