It's time to release an alpha version for Drupal 8

This module is being used by over 400 D8 sites now. We're using it in the Varbase distro as it adds a missing enhancements to editorial tools.

Instead of keeping the D8 version a dev version, can you release at least an alpha release, this will make the module usable for composer-based projects and gives a push forward for people to start testing it on their D8 sites.
