Hi,

I am getting the following errors when i try to configure mail api
• warning: fsockopen() [function.fsockopen]: php_network_getaddresses: getaddrinfo failed: No such host is known. I
• warning: fsockopen() [function.fsockopen]: unable to connect to smtp.mail.yahoo.com:25 (Unknown error)
• warning: fsockopen() [function.fsockopen]: php_network_getaddresses: getaddrinfo failed: No such host is known.
• warning: fsockopen() [function.fsockopen]: unable to connect to smtp.mail.yahoo.com:25 (Unknown error)

Are there any free SMTP server available online which I can use?

Please advise.

Mail API for Drupal 5.x was never completed and isn't in development. I took over this project since it was abandoned and have no plans on developing for 5.x, sorry.
