Can you explain why this is not getting 'security coverage' and might that ever get resolved? Seems like a good idea to have a simple approach for groups

because when I made this module I did not tick the box enable security advisory.
this module needs to be updated a bit to work with drupal 9 ect ...
I for one have not had time resonantly but hope some one comes up with a few patches etc :)
next release Ill see if i can enable security checks.

Understood. I have used OG lots in D7 and am having to make a judgement call on whether to go to Groups for a similar project. The high number of open bugs there is a slight concern but expect many of them are for the many edge cases that a highly complex solution like Groups will inevitably have. And stumbled upon this while searching.

I will have a deeper read of this now, and appreciate that the maintainer is at least active enough to respond :-) (which is not always the case)
