Node locations are not getting displayed if you just set the country. Geocoding is also not working in this case. If you call geocoding directly with just a country name or country code google delivers the right result.

Test #1

  1. create node and set just country
  2. no location or map gets displayed, geocoding does not works

  1. create node and set country and city
  2. location and map gets displayed, geocoding works

Test #2

  1. edit node #2 and remove city
  2. location still gets displayed, map not, geocoding failed

I tried this with a fresh installation of drupal 6.19 only location and gmal module where installed and Google API-Key was set.

Note: This bug exists also in the 6.x.3.x.dev version.

Perhaps (!) changing the value of the field 'Google Maps geocoding minimum accuracy' in 'admin/settings/location/geocoding' helps?
If so, please change this issue's category to "Support request and status to "Closed".

I am having a similar issue. Using Drupal 6.19, location 6.x-3.1, GMap 6.x-1.1 only the country name "unites states" displays on my event page under the title "Location". There is no display for the location name, address, zip and map link. This did work at one time. Any feedback would be appreciated.

I'm having the same problem. Mine Displays Location Name, Street, Country but no City, State/Province and ZipCode. It did work at a point, all of a sudden, City, State/Province and Zip Code Fields disappeared. Please help.

Per comment #1 I tried changing the "Google Maps geocoding minimum accuracy" but this did not help.
If any other suggestions can be offered I would certainly appreciate it.
