I have installed Gmap, and I love the module when combined with views. I have a map layout with different markers based on taxonomy, and when the taxonomy term is selected, the map zooms to these specific markers.
Is there a way to use this taxonomy based auto zoom function within CCK when users create content.
For example.... Within CCK, a user types in the TITLE, then chooses a TAXONOMY TERM (which refers a specific location on the map). Right when he chooses that term, the map zooms to that terms location, and lets the user choose a marker spot from that location.
If the taxonomy term is changed, and new location (based on that taxonomy term) will be displayed in the map for the user to place a marker.
It will be exactly like the the NODE LOCATIONS map with the autozoom function, but in CCK. Any Idea on how to accomplish this?

rooby commentedThe views aspect of this actually relates to the location module.
In the latest version of location it is possible to have the map centre on an marker based on an argument.
There is also better support for taxonomy locations.
If this is still an issue for you please try the latest location module and eropen this if you still have problems.
Also,
Support and feature requests are not critical. For more information see http://drupal.org/node/45111
