I keep having the problem that every event I post does not automatically insert a zip code, even when the full address is listed.

It keeps saying this at the top of each event when you click "Edit:"

"Please make sure to select a state/province from the country you have selected."

However, the state is selected.

Has anyone run into this, and if so, were you able to fix it? Or does anyone know how to fix it?

The attached patch was applied to the DRUPAL-4-6 branch.

The only affecteted file is location.inc.

I made the changes, and it's still not pulling zip codes for events. As such, the eventfinder isn't locating anything.

To ensure I made the changes correctly, I even downloaded the location module from here, and then uploaded the inc file (the 4.6 version, since that's what I'm running). I edited an event, and no zip code was added.

Changing the status of this, as it's not fixed. Even with the patch, the problem continues.

State selection is now a textfield with autocomplete.
