(this is crossposted at http://drupal.org/node/119684)

Platform:
Centos 4.4
Apache 2.0.52
Php 4.3.9
mysql-server-4.1.20

Drupal 4.7.4
Workflow 4.7.x.1.0
CCK 4.7--1.2
Location (v 1.62.2.15 2007/01/11)

I have created a CCK and I use the location module to create addresses for this CCK. All is well at this point. Then I add a workflow. In that workflow, if I assign the action *unpublish node* in the first action, the node ends up with 2 addresses: the original and a duplicate.

If I modify the Publishing Settings for the CCK with Publish->unchecked and Put In Moderation Queue->checked, then the workflow does NOT add the second address.

Thanks for your help.

Bump. I believe I have the same issue.

I'm on drupal 5.2, latest location and latest workflow.

When using workflow, if I submit a node in an 'unpublished' state, re-editing the node presents a second location form 'location #2'. However, if when submitting a new node I skip the workflow's unpublished state and set it's state right to 'published', the location remains singular when re-editing, as it should.

Any progress on this issue?

Version: 4.7.x-1.x-dev » 5.x-2.7

Just changing version.

To fix this for now, I've disallowed the permission of creation straight to publishing. This removes the workflow choices and defaults to my node being submitted as unpublished. This works for me now because the only user who should have access to go from create to publish is uid 1. I can deal with going through the middle phase if it prevents the second location form problem.

Title: Double Addresses on CCKS when using Location Module for CCK Addresses » Double nodes when using location module in CCKs and views
Priority: Normal » Critical

this may be related to the "double addresses" problem reported here
http://drupal.org/node/119914

my problem is that the entire node(s) is (are) being displayed twice. this is when i use the location module and a content type and create a page view (whether list or table makes no diff). i set max and minimum location to one.

using drupal 5.2 and location module

Won't fix 2.x code. Reopen if it's still broken under 3.x.
