I am using CCK location. I am trying to achieve a directory which can be browsed by location levels.

I went ahead and created a view like this:
Relationship: CCK location field
Argument 1: Taxonomy Term ID (not related to location)
Argument 2: Location - province (with relationship above)

But I am not being able to get results as expected. Even though there is a node with Vermont as province, if I provide "Vermont" as an argument, view doesn't return that node.

I greatly appreciate any help.

Can you export your view and paste it into a .txt file and upload it here.
It is much easier to give views support with a copy of the whole view.

Also, if you are using location 6.x-3.1-rc1 can you upgrade to the newer 6.x-3.1 and see if you are still having the same problem.
There have been many fixes since that rc1 release.

+1 I also have this issue. My node has a CCK Location "address" which contains: country, province and city.

My View (page display) path is set to /contentype/%/%.
How should I set my arguments so when I go to /contentype/country/city my list is properly filtered?

Thank you

I'm going to assume the original poster no longer has an issue and just answer the question in #2.

You can leave the path as it is (not that you don't need the leading slash).
Then add the arguments (in that order)
Location: Country
Location: Province

And that should be it.
Sub settings of the arguments like "Action to take if argument is not present" etc. can be set to whatever you want based on the functionality you need.

Note: I am assuming the "contentype" portion of your view path is just a static path and isn't meant to be another argument as that wasn't mentioned.

Thank you rooby. That is how I have it but it gives me problems frequently... I will post if I can get more specific.

The best thing to do if you are having problems with a specific view is to do an export of the view and post the export with a description of the problem.
The exports can be very large at times so it might also be good to paste the export into a text file and attach, instead of just posting the whole text into the comment.
