Currently, there's a separate translation server for OpenAtrium, with no automatic exchange of translations between it and localize.drupal.org. This kind of fork is very wasteful. At https://community.openatrium.com/issues/node/3258 wulff has proposed a solution which looks perfect. The issue doesn't seem to have much attention, so I'm opening this issue here to ask others who have an opinion to post in the issue at OpenAtrium.com. Hopefully some more attention will help getting the ball rolling.

wulff commentedI'm obviously in favor of finding a solution for this problem since I have a complete Danish translation of Open Atrium lying around with no easy way to maintain or distribute it.
My suggestion in the linked issue (creating a dummy module containing all strings from the custom Open Atrium modules and adding it to d.o.) is at best a temporary workaround, but could work as a stopgap measure until a more permanent solution is found.
In the meantime, if anyone is interested in testing the Danish translation of Open Atrium, please get in touch.

timcarouge commentedI do support the need to use the localize.drupal.org repository.
I would use and contribute to the French translation
