Problem/Motivation

Both the demo content and UK parties sub-module have some party abbreviations that deviate from established conventions. There are also missing common parties.

Proposed resolution

Check all parties and update as required in both demo content and UK parties sub-modules.

Known variations / omissions:

  • Independent (IND) missing
  • Reform UK > RU - update to REF

I think the Green Party would be better as GRN than GP. The BBC use that too: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/election/2024/england/councils/E06000023
