As I understand from the maintainers' advice from previous issues, the recommended way to go about tweaking the wording of various form page elements is via the long-standing String overrides module.
That's all fine but we are uncovering some instances where we think various form elements' text is not being pushed through the t() function and so String overrides cannot act.
For example, we are keen to tweak elements on the Course edit page ()…
Th green tick shows element that can be successfully overridden, the red cross points out failure…
