On the Activities page: /admin/lms/activity we get a +Add activity button.
On the Activity type entities page: /admin/lms/activity_type we get a +Add type button.
On the Lesson entities page: /admin/lms/lesson we get a +Add lesson button.
But, on the Courses page: /admin/lms/courses we don't get a button ;-(
We realise this is probably because a Course is really an instance of the Group type and we can of course create one using the +Add group button from the Groups page but the need to have to go over there to create one is rather confusing to the average teacher as they should not need to know or care about the backend details of Course being Groups etc.
Clearly, I could simply edit the view page header to add one (as I have below) but I just thought that in terms of non-site builder user, I would flag it up as an obvious UX omission.

ob3ron commentedThere should be a button there, I think a recent update must have caused a regression.

sirclickalotOK, thanks all.
In terms of trying to usefully evaluate the state of Drupal LMS, I can see now that I really needed to go with the QuickStart repo and so I have decided to start again on my evaluation.

graber commentedYes, all the group roles and permissions config is a bit tricky to figure out if starting from scratch. We should really have a recipe but there’s always something more important / interesting to do on the project 😉
