I would add a note on the performance page.
Would it be possible to disable live.js automatically when css caching gets enabled?
Or do you think this is not desired behavior for the module?

Yeah, I'm thinking don't include the script automatically when performance aggregation is turned on, since it's can't really be used in that case anyway.

Sounds like one vote for note about it on the performance page :)
