I upgraded to the latest LiveCSS 7.x-2.12+8-dev. I got not the LiveCSS editor sidebar. I cannot find anyway to have it back.
On LiveCSS settings page I got the following warnings:
Warning: opendir(sites/all/libraries/ace/src) [function.opendir]: failed to open dir: No such file or directory in live_css_list_files() (linea 200 di /home/demarco1/public_html/sites/all/modules/live_css/live_css.module).

deryck.henson commentedSorry you were caught off-guard, but yes the new version now separates Live CSS from the Ace library using the Libraries module.
Once Libraries-2.x is enabled, you can use drush to download Ace or simply get it here directly:
https://github.com/ajaxorg/ace-builds/archive/master.zip
Extract to
sites/all/librariesand rename from "ace-builds-master" to "ace".I think Guy just hasn't gotten a chance to edit the module page with this information so I apologize for the lack of direction.
If you have any further issues let us know :)
