I have created a categorie vocabulary to categorize the links. Inside it I have created the terms in two languages and created the translations of terms. Then I create a link.. change the language to another language.. and clone the node using clone module to justo change the description of the link in another language. and assign the category in the other language. So I have two weblink nodes (one for each language) and they show right in different languages.. but...

if you click a link.. the count view of that click.. isn't reflected in the other language... so you can have 10 visits in a language and 0 visits in another...

Maybe this can be a feature instead a bug.. so you can see how many visitors are from each language... but it could be an option. To have all the visists of every language counted in the same table or something....

I know... the multilingual aproach of duplicating nodes is not very good.. but don't know how to translate descriptions of the links in other way.

translating the nodes instead of cloning... has the same effect... visit counts.. are independent for each language.
