I'd like to see the ability to Create New Categories become a separate page rather than only having the option of using taxonomies, similar to the Photo Album module has. I'd rather not expose users to all of the taxonomies , but do want them to be able to add categories. It seems a page was added for this, but it's blank.

I'm going to file this under "postponed", because I'd like to hear comments from the community before I consider adding this as a feature.

Basically, I understand the desire for the quick category add, but I'm concerned about reinventing wheels that are already in Drupal.

In particular, I would ask whether this need could be met with free tagging from Drupal core. Comments?
