I understand that I can use this line in order to show an image file using Lightbox2:

<a href="images/image-1.jpg" rel="lightbox" title="my caption">click here!</a>

My question is whether it is possible to make Lightbox2 generate a thumbnail for the above image and display it in the node body field?! Do you I need some additional module to do that? Thanks for wonderful job!

You need the imagecache module for that.
