I thought I was losing my mind. When a thumbnail is clicked (using brilliant gallery) to bring up lightbox2, two light boxes are displayed on top of each other, so once you click the X to close the first lightbox, there is another one underneath it.

Okay never mind. I figured out that our developer had put Pretty Photo in the javascript and it was conflicting, since they are based on the same code. So I am closing this.
