All the modules that depend on libraries have users asking where they install the third-party libraries. Seems like we could provide some generic documentation similar to http://drupal.org/node/70151.

I have received many such requests, but here is a recent one #1315958: Installation issue - "Failed to load the AWSSDK" on status report page.

I think we want to take the UI-based approach like in Wysiwyg module, and that's currently being worked on in #819610: Provide a UI for Libraries
