i've marked as a bug but i dont know whose bug yet. This module appears to work only for default drupal layouts. The module does not seem to compatible with bootstrap layout module or displaysuite layouts. Selection of any variant gives me a single column and a lot of "<>" markers in the rows.

This should be fixed by #2868179: The module should be based on Layout Discovery for 2.x branch and the release of 8.x-2.0-alpha1. Please reopen this issue if that's not the case
