I've been trying to modify the latest & greatest module to work with forum posts, rather than aggregator items... but i haven't been successful. Has anyone else modified this module in a similar manner?

It seems like it ought to be pretty easy to modify (not a lot of database queries) if i was a programmer.

Anyone else think this would be a useful mod for many users, not just me?

Latest and Greatest exists mostly because aggregator items are NOT nodes, and need some mechanism for voting/rating other than the other node rating/voting solutions that are already out there. It's more likely that 'top rated content' lists will be rolled directly into the VotingAPI in the next version. For now, Latest and Greatest will stay as is.
