This module is based on the application of this patch:
Expose Layout Builder data to REST and JSON:API

Once the patch is applied, JSON:API Layout Builder module implements a jsonapi endpoint for each content entity that has a display configured with layout builder. Furthermore, if a display is not overwritten, the module is in charge of showing the layout information by default. Finally, in the endpoints that this module implements, the information of the fields in the response json is expanded, adding the settings of the field.
