Token in the default filter list

First off, thanks for the great module

I was wondering if there is a way to include a dynamic value/token in the default filters for the collection, something along the lines of:

where [user:name] is a token that gets replaced with currently logged in user name.

My aim is to use this in conjunction with entity_share module and filter the nodes available to the client site, based on which client site is logged in to pull the content.

Should I attempt to do this by creating a custom module to add to the default filters instead?
