manage external JSON

Hello,
I don't still use this module. But I'd like to know if it's adapted to my needs.

Problem/Motivation

My newsletter service provides an external JSON solution. That's useful for tracking uses: openers, clicks, outbounds...

QUESTION: is this module able to manage an external JSON "feed"

• to produce a content type?
• to produce views?
