Generate JQueryMenu from child branch?

I am working on a site where I need to be able to generate a jquerymenu for different subsections of the site, generated from the major child branches of the Primary Links menu. We had originally attempted to generate these submenus using NiceMenus, but realised that jquerymenu would give us the functionality that we needed.

Currently, we have the proper functionality on some pages of the site. There is a menu on the site which links to several independent menus, and so it was easy to implement jquerymenu on those pages. Here is one example:

However, the site also uses a MegaMenu for navigation of several sections. In spite of the presence of the MegaMenu, the client also wants the right-side menu with collapsable function as per jquerymenu. With NiceMenus, it is possible to specify a child branch of a menu from which to start, so you can see currently we're using that to "fake" the right-side menu, but it does not have any of the sub-layers.

So I am looking for a way to implement a jquerymenu from a child branch of the Primary Links menu. I don't know if this would involve some custom coding, or if there is another Module which would add this function, but if anyone can help I would appreciate it.
