I don't know if this is support? or feature request?

In any case, the JQM interface is great and everybody likes it.

Is there any way to implement it to Views which display hierarchical content, such as taxonomies or books? I know that's not what this module is supposed to do, but I just wondered if you had any suggestions or could point me to something useful.

There's no reason it couldn't be used like that. I haven't ever thought of a direct application with views, but any kind of hierarchical data can be processed with the jqm api if you give it the info it needs.
