Interesting module.

One tricky thing is that it seems it does not work as far as one image is broken (for example does not exist). Then the screen stays black.

Good to know...as it could break the navigation which is dangerous...

I read about these on http://www.gayadesign.com/diy/queryloader-preload-your-website-in-style/ comments. I'll take a look to see if there is a workaround.
