I like the theme, but it only showing me the slideshow in the frontpage plus the right sidebar. I don't want to show the slideshow at all and just need to show my content that is prompted to "Front Page" could this be done? If so, how?

There is now a theme setting for slide show. By default this is enabled. Also new region "content' was created. Can you please download latest version and check again.
