Great great module.
what I need to accomplish using the Jplayer is to basically get sound/ audio alerts whenever there is a new alert by other modules like the Taskbar.
An mp3 file / beep would be played so that the user gets notified even when not looking at the screen.
A preference is that the play of the audio would be done instantly and pretty lightly and not much server resources are taken to play sound each alert.
Any ideas fro using / combining with other modules would be helpful,

It sounds like a much better approach would be to directly use the HTML5 audio APIs, and if you need to support legacy browsers pull out just the jPlayer swf and call it directly.

As the crux of this is to use jPlayer without the UI, I'm going to say that's beyond the scope of this module.
