When Registration Settings is set to Show "Register" Button and a user enters a username and password then clicks Register, a warning is displayed. If a user only enters data in one field and not the other, no warning is displayed as expected.

Warning message:
Notice: Undefined variable: _SESSION in _itweak_login_custom_buttons() (line 292 of /var/www/html/drupal/sites/all/modules/itweak_login/itweak_login.module).

Does not seem to break functionality, just displays a warning at the top.

I was not able to reproduce this error following your steps. So I checked PHP.net for unset() behavior and warning can be generated if the array itself is missing (which is pointless behavior).

I have not seen this warning in my tests probably because I did not use any module that disables sessions for anon users. Do you use any such module?

Anyway, I reworked the code and committed to 6.x-1.x-dev and 7.x-1.x-dev.
