Google scholar requires access to premium content using a predefined range of IP addresses. Will this module allow it to spider a site if it arrives with the appropriate IP address(s)?

As a searchbot, I guess it won't have facilities for cookies, not will it visit a specific log-in page.

I'm using for a similar function, to allow our Google Mini to access protected pages (including OG). In your case though, there might be a concern about somebody being able to spoof the IP address.
