is for 5.x and has become more of a discussion of IP address ranges which is different from support for multiple IP addresses. I have it on good authority that ip_authenticator will not be developed any more which means that more and more people will be using IP Login. Adding support for multiple IP addresses will be extremely useful.

Please see #791410: Improved: now supports logging in as alternate user plus comma separated values, IP ranges and wildcards for a version that does precisely what you want.
